Loving Lately

Another share of what Ive been loving lately.

So much going on day in and day out, busy lives with work and kids, Im trying to be more present and in the now. Appreciating the little things and sharing what makes us smile in the Papke house.

1- Books- Im trying to get back into reading. 

Not an easy task with a busy and noisy house, but I find Im a happier me when Im motivated and uplifted. Big Magic recommended by some friends has been just that- motivating.

2- Cantaloupe- Obsessed!! 

Bought a few some weeks back at Costco and I haven't been able to quit it.

So so good with cottage cheese! Do it now!

3- This weather- So nice outside!
Kids have been loving their scooters and ask to go out to check for their neighbor friends all the time. Its easy to say yes when the weather is like this.

4- Tazo Passion Tea- Got addicted from Starbucks and so refreshing. Im a huge tea drinker and this is a nice refreshing caffeine free alternative. Thanks to the hubs for brewing and keeping it stocked.

Loving Lately

I haven't posted in a while and have been needing a lot of motivation to post anything other than the round up of things we have been loving. With the move approaching and packing and all the craziness that comes with it, this is all I can muster up for the next little while. So some things we have been loving....

1. Matching boys! Kai picked his outfit out this day based on being able to match daddy. Star shirts, shorts, glasses, and watch. He thought it was the coolest thing! Now I wonder if he thinks it will be just as cool to match mama! 

2. New favorite drinks- coconut! Oh yeah!! Coffee too of course! 

3. New beauty product. Grabbed this GlamGlow mud mask at check out at Sephora. Those little samples always get me! This thing is serious business though- exfoliates great with a definite tingle!  Yes I just posted a picture of me like this! 

4. Baby showers! Quinn is loving getting squeaky clean in the shower! She suds up the loufa and practices her cheerleading moves! Whatever makes them happy right!

5. Summer! Nope not loving the above 105 degree weather, but loving staying cool in new ways! Kids had a blast with hose! 

No bath needed here!

Loving Lately

Some things that we just can't get enough of over at the Papke house...

1. Splash pads!! Only took like 10 trips for the little miss to finally get a hang of it and enjoy herself!

2. Car naps! Need I say more. 

3. Online shopping! Been getting kinda good at this one! I don't know about anyone else, but, if you shop at Forever 21 I can't ever seem to find anything in store! Online! It's a whole other story! 

(Yep! A mama has to make crazy faces in order to get a decent smile out of this chick!) 

4. Packing! I'm lying we don't really love this one around here but we are loving what the packing process is bringing! That much closer to our new home! Hey first box down!

5. Progress! Won't be too much longer now!

Loving Lately

A few things we are loving at the Papke House

1. Progress

We have cabinets!! 

I'm dying for our home to be finished and moved in!!! Mostly to get some hardware put on those cabinets!! 

2. Chop chop

A new cut for me. Feeling so refreshed and loving it.

3. Lemonade

We are making our way through our Summer Bucket list!

I'll be sharing the recipe we used soon.

4. Littles playing nice together.

I enjoyed my Sunday morning watching these two play Hungry Hungry Hippo while I had some coffee. It was nice indeed!
